Positive Attitude

Live Life With Dignity

Life’s hard to live and still people make it harder to live. Just living for right takes so much, that I wonder how people have time to do wrong, foolish things, to make life more complicated.

Everyday is a duty, one hundred things to do and think of, you have your family, your friends, your work, your home, your God, all to tend to in twenty four hours. You oversee cooking, cleaning, clothing. You have your daily prayer schedule or temple to go to, you have the needs of father, Mother, Brother, Sister, Children to tend to. No one day is like the other, many of the surprises are unwelcome.

We live each day working hard not knowing what tomorrow will bring. We have a life to live and to live it righteously takes a lot, each day. Morning to night is gone in no time. There is money to manage and just when you have managed to save the rare bit something unexpected comes along and you have to give it away.

You pay for your health, eat right, live right, spend to be healthy and then unexpectedly something small, something stupid comes up and big money goes, your days go. your whole schedule goes. Life is so unexpected. You just about have time to be with the ones you love and you live in that fragile stage because you never know when the ones you love will go. We are busy living hard lives and we don’t have choice but to live it.

And so far I have just dealt with the external requirements our Life demands. There are more important ones – the internal needs. We have so much to deal with everyday. Life by the time you are thirty is packed.

Disappointments, sad memories, regrets, past issues, people who went away, something is always on your mind. something is always tugging at our heart strings. We have to clear our old deeds of another life-time and we have to make sure we succeed in this because it is the main reason of our lives, we have to undo all the wrong we have done in this lifetime because then we never knew better, we have to come to terms with certain things of our life, let go of other things, we have to make peace with the war, we have to end wars and we have to live with us, the us that no one knows.

Life can be so difficult, it is for almost all. Yet we are blessed to able to go on for without the Blessing of God and His kingdom could we manage any of this? We have no control over our lives yet we live it., we have no weapons against diseases yet we go on not thinking about it, we have the old to take care of, the ill to look after, the additional difficult new twists and turns to manage our daily life. suddenly there can be a major change, suddenly there can be a major illness, suddenly there can be a death and it has happened to many. But we continue to live on. For, to live on righteously is all we are called to do.

Which is why I wonder how those who are not like us manage to live the reckless and careless lives? yes Life is struggle , hardship, sweat, work, and everything you don’t want to hear. this is Life and sooner we accept it, the better.

Life is difficult, our loved ones do fall ill, they will die someday, money is a hassle, everyday living does make demands, anything happens anytime, we don’t know anything. And the unnecessary trouble human add to our journey: deceptions, greed, backbiting, manipulations, hurt. What can we do??

Nothing, move away from what we can move away from and continue no matter what the distractions and disturbances to live righteously the way we have committed to. It is a tough road but it id our road.

We don’t want it easy, we only want goodness, honor, decency, the ability to fulfill our duties, claim our soul’s belongings, love who we love, live small, live well, live honestly. We have many like us on this path, they’ve made it, we will too. We have a duty towards Life and never mind the millions who make it easy by taking the unrighteous path, we will live here.

In my book of Life, really no matter what the difficulty, there is no other way to live Life than to live it with dignity and duty, Because that’s what then makes it our Life.

Inspiring Story :What Life is all About..

A Long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that
if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes,
then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.

Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and
rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could.
He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible.

When he was hungry, thirsty or tired, he did not stop because
he wanted to cover as much area as possible. Came to a point
when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted
and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I pushed myself
so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and
I only need a very small area to bury myself."

The above story is similar with the journey of our Life.
We push very hard everyday to make more money,
to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health, time with our family
and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love to do.

One day when we look back, we will realize that we don't really need that much,
but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.

Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition.
Life is definitely not about work! Work is only necessary to keep us living
so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life.

Lessons to Learn from The Story:

Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time.
You have to decide how you want to balance your Life.
Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise
but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts.

Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life,
the whole aim of human existence. So, take it easy,
do what you want to do and appreciate nature. Life is fragile,
Life is short. Do not take Life for granted.
Live a balance lifestyle and enjoy Life!

Inspiring Story :The wooden bowl...

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in- law,
and a four-year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled,
his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered.

The family ate together nightly at the dinner table. But the
elderly grandfather' s shaky hands and failing sight made eating rather difficult.
Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor.

When he grasped the glass often milk spilled on the tablecloth.
The son and daughter-in- law became irritated with the mess.
"We must do something about grandfather, " said the son.

I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor.
So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There,
grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner
at the dinner table. Since grandfather had broken a dish or two,
his food was served in a wooden bowl.

Sometimes when the family glanced in grandfather' s direction,
he had a tear in his eye as he ate alone. Still, the only words
the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork
or spilled food. The four-year-old watched it all in silence.

One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing
with wood scraps on the floor.

He asked the child sweetly, "What are you making?" Just as sweetly,
the boy responded,
"Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and mama to eat your food
from when I grow up."
The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.
The words so struck the parents that they were speechless.

Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken,
both knew what must be done.
That evening the husband took grandfather' s hand and gently led him
back to the family table.

For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family.
And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer
when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.

Children are remarkably perceptive. Their eyes ever observe,
their ears ever listen, and their minds ever process the messages they absorb.
If they see us patiently provide a happy home atmosphere for family members,
they will imitate that attitude for the rest of their lives.

Lesson from the Story:

The wise parent realizes that every day that building blocks
are being laid for the child's future.

House Of 1000 Mirrors

Long ago in a small, far away village, there was place known as the House of 1000 Mirrors. A small,  happy little dog learned of this place and decided to visit. When he arrived, he bounced happily up the stairs to the doorway of the house. He looked through the doorway with his ears lifted high and his tail wagging as fast as it could. To his great surprise, he found himself staring at 1000 other happy little dogs with their tails wagging just as fast as his. He smiled a great smile, and was answered with 1000 great smiles just as warm and friendly. As he left the House, he thought  to himself, "This is a wonderful place. I will come back and visit it often."

In this same village, another little dog, who was not quite as happy as the first one, decided to visit the house. He slowly climbed the stairs and hung his head low as he looked into the door. When he saw the 1000 unfriendly looking dogs staring back at him, he growled at them and was horrified to see 1000 little dogs growling back at him. As he left, he thought to himself, "That is a horrible place, and I will never go back there again."

All the faces in the world are mirrors. What kind of reflections do you see in the faces of the people you meet?

Two Choices

This is such a nice story! Please take some time to read it :) ...

What would you do?....you make the choice. Don't look for a punch line, there isn't one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice?

At a fund-raising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended.. After extolling the school and its staff, he offered a question:

'When not interfered with, by outside influences; everything nature does, is done with perfection.

Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.

Where is the natural order of things in my son?'

The audience was stilled by the query.

The father continued. 'I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.'

Then he told the following story:

Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, 'Do you think they'll let me play?' I knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.

I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, 'We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.'

Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three.

In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again..

Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.

At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?

Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.

However, as Shay stepped up to the

plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed.

The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.

As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher.

The game would now be over.

The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman.

Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.

Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman's head, out of reach of all team mates.

Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, 'Shay, run to first!

Run to first!'

Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base.

He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.

Everyone yelled, 'Run to second, run to second!'

Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base.

B y the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball . the smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team.

He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head.

Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home.

All were screaming, 'Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay'

Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, 'Run to third!

Shay, run to third!'

As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, 'Shay, run home! Run home!'

Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team

'That day', said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, 'the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world'.

Shay didn't make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making me so happy, and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day!

AND NOW A LITTLE FOOT NOTE TO THIS STORY:

We all send thousands of jokes through the e-mail without a second thought, but when it comes to sending messages about life choices, people hesitate.

The crude, vulgar, and often obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion about decency is too often suppressed in our schools and workplaces.

If you're thinking about forwarding this message, chances are that you're probably sorting out the people in your address book who aren't the 'appropriate' ones to receive this type of message Well, the person who sent you this believes that we all can make a difference.

We all have thousands of opportunities every single day to help realize the 'natural order of things.'

So many seemingly trivial interactions between two people present us with a choice:

Do we pass along a little spark of love and humanity or do we pass up those opportunities and leave the world a little bit colder in the process?

A wise man once said every society is judged by how it treats it's least fortunate amongst them.

A Special Word

Someone, Somewhere

Someone, Somewhere

Life has been such a struggle for me,
Nothing is going right.
I am so weak and lost and afraid,
My days are dark as night.
I cry out to God but just can't find the words,
This pain just won't go away.
Then hope fills my soul and I start to believe,
That things will get better today.

I know that someone is praying for me,
I can feel it in my heart.
Tears filled my eyes and I almost gave up,
My heart felt so ripped apart.
But someone, somewhere said a prayer for me,
God knew just what to do.
For He knew my struggles and sent me someone,
To pray to get me through.

I know that someone is praying for me,
Cause I couldn't do it myself.
Then in an instant I felt so free,
He took care of me by Himself.
He asked someone loving to answer His call,
Someone who really does care.
To lift me up to our heavenly Lord,
A dear friend out there somewhere.

Life is still a struggle for me,
But I get on my knees and pray.
Although I am weak I'm much stronger now,
There's sunshine back in my day.
It makes all the difference knowing someone,
Really cares about me.
For God sent me someone, somewhere out there,
To pray on behalf of me.

If the Lord leads you to pray for someone,
A friend or someone unknown,
Don't look away for God needs your help,
And to you He has shown.
Your love and kindness could change someone's life,
Although they may not know you.
The life that you helped could have been mine,
And to you I say, THANK-YOU!

I know what it's like to have someone, somewhere,
Ask the Lord to guide me.
I felt so alone, but that prayer changed my life,
And set my heart so free.
I'll keep my heart open and listen for God,
Then I'll pray to Him for you.
For I want to be that someone, somewhere,
Who God can use for you.

4 Steps to Enjoy Every Moment

4 Steps to Enjoy Every Moment

All too often people take life, and all of the great things that it offers, for granted. People realize how much something means to them only after it is taken away. There is a reason for this; it is difficult to appreciate things in life because it is difficult to picture yourself without them.

An example will help to explain this point more clearly. Imagine sitting at a table nearly 100 feet long. On this table are hundreds of different foods.
Main courses, deserts, drinks, and more cover every inch of the table. You are all alone, and all that the table offers is for you.
Now try and not take this food for granted. Try to appreciate it like it
will be gone tomorrow. It isn’t easy. It is hard to not take this food for granted when there is so much in front of you.
This example can be transferred to many things in life. One may see that
same point in life itself. People say live life to the fullest, and to
appreciate every day you have. This is difficult for the majority of people because, just the like the food, there are so many days left. When you know you’ll be around for 40 more years, it is hard to think about today being your last day.
Don’t lose hope, there is an answer. It’s called the Step Back. This quick system will help you to appreciate your life, and all that is offers.
Moments filled with happiness and excitement will no longer be unappreciated and taken for granted.

1. REALIZE YOU’RE IN THE MOMENT
The first step is to realize that you are in the middle of something good.
It could be a beautiful day on your family vacation, or a perfect afternoon with your children. You are the judge of what moments you’d like to appreciate.

2. TAKE A STEP BACK
This is the main part of the system. Once you realize you are experiencing a moment you’d like to have last forever, stop yourself for a moment and take a Step Back.
Take yourself away from the situation. Take a short walk, a quick break, or simply close your eyes.
Once you are removed from the situation, think about it as if it happened in the past.
Picture how happy you were, the details of the scene, and the others around you. Feel the emotions you felt, see and hear the faces and sounds. Remember how much you enjoyed the time, and how much you’d like to enjoy it again.

3. MAKE YOUR REENTRY
Once you feel the happiness of the moment, think about this; it’s no longer in the past, it’s right now! You just thought about how great you felt in that past moment, and now you can live it in the present.
You just appreciated the current moment by looking back on the situation.
Once you are in the middle of the moment again, remember…

4. ENJOY YOURSELF
This will be a moment that, like all others, will eventually pass. With this in mind, really let it sink in. Take a look around, and realize you are in the middle of something great.
Taking a Step Back every now and then will help you appreciate life. No
longer will you be one who takes life for granted. You will make happy
moments happier, and you will also help to make them last forever.

How Do You Really Know When To End A Relationship?

How Do You Really Know When To End A Relationship?

So many people so many times ask that same question. So many people go through confusing times within their own personal relationship to make it last. How are you going to find out when to end a relationship? That question is being asked by a lot of people and the answer lies within communicating to each other.
Knowing some key points to concentrate will help you accomplish this. Discussion will take place in understanding how important and vital it is to give the relationship one last try. Knowing that the relationship is important to you then asking some vital questions will be important to ask. You need to know if the respect in the relationship is still there and keeping you together for some hope.

By the end of this article read you should be able to figure out a plan of action. You will have a roadmap of guidelines that you can use to determine whether or not you should save the relationship or walk away.
Okay let’s dive into the first point stated which is giving the relationship the benefit of the doubt to try and work things out. Relationships don’t go south right at the beginning.
Only after a period of time do relationships start having trouble. If you feel that you once had something special between you two then you need to keep that thought alive. You will need to understand that the effort is worth the result based on your instincts.

Taking the easy way out of a relationship and calling it quits is what a lot of people do. Sure it’s easier that way and a bit painful but it’s just temporary. People sometimes don’t want to face the facts that there is something wrong between you two and take the easy way out. Remembering that anything worthwhile takes patience and understanding.
You need to find out if the relationship can be saved by talking and grasping what the real problem is.
The key to saving a relationship is asking some pointed questions. The answers to your questions will determine when to end a relationship.Questions or thinking about the past is the key here. You need to ask yourself whether or not trust has been broken.
If you don’t know where your partner’s mind is then has the trust been broken? Trust in not communicating to each other what each other wants to do in life. Trust in the fact that infidelity has gotten into the relationship.

In order to find out what’s wrong you need to ask these type questions and how it got to be this way.
Last but not least we have to discuss the issue of respect. Without respect you don’t have anything to hold together in a relationship. You need to know to have respect because that’s what keeps each other bonded. Has the basic social values changed between you two? Are times tough enough for either one of you to forsake the social values that you both stood for?
These are tough questions to ask but they are needed to find out whether or not the relationship is redeemed.
If your relationship has gone south and you still want a opportunity to save it then you need to take an evaluation of it right now. You need to at least try and find out what the core problems are. You need to ask the critical questions referred and understanding whether or not respect for each other is still there.
Whether this relationship is between two people that have been together for a long time or a marriage relationship; the emotions are the same. Knowing from personal experience that the effort to stay together is worth it than splitting apart.
There are so many trials and tribulations within a relationship that it’s all part of the big picture of life. Can you handle it? If you succeed then consider yourself a winner in life. If you can’t and you’ve tried the best you can then you are also a winner. But don’t quit without trying. It’s worth the effort if the relationship is repairable.

God Speaks Quiet !!

God Speaks Quiet !!

Have you ever heard a quiet voice
deep down within your being,
A voice so soft, still, and calm,
it stops and sends fear fleeing?

It comes in times of trouble,
when things appear most grim.
Other times it comes for no other reason
than to let us know it comes from Him.

God tells us things so simply stated,
it's hard to misunderstand.
Yet the things He speaks go against the flesh,
but exposes His loving hand.

He sometimes gives us answers,
for which we desperately seek.
Other times, He gives the words
He wants us to earnestly speak.

Have you ever been utterly confused
not knowing which way to go,
Then suddenly the choice becomes so clear,
you wonder how you didn't know?

Has there ever arisen a crisis,
leaving you anxious with an unresolved need;
Only to have things suddenly go into reverse
and from the crisis you're freed?

Not only does God speak to us
in His still small voice,
He actively moves to accomplish His will;
giving us reason to rejoice.

That soft calm voice has given me peace,
each time I've been overwhelmed by fear.
When I listen closely, He always speaks
the exact words I need to hear.

And when I find myself in trouble,
He always hears my unspoken plea.
He comes in and sets things right,
and His perfect will I'm able to see.

I'm in a crisis as I sit and write this,
and it's totally beyond my control.
The circumstances are overwhelming.
Yet, there's peace inside my soul.

No matter what the outcome,
there's one thing I'm certain of -
I've heard the quiet voice of God,
assuring me of His love.
