Airtel's Wi-Fi, postpaid subscribers to get exclusive access to Apple TV+ and Apple Music

 

·         Airtel Home Wi-Fi customers will get access to Apple TV+ streaming.

·         Meanwhile, postpaid users get Apple TV+ and 6 months of Apple Music services.

Airtel has announced a strategic partnership with Apple, which will bring Apple TV+ streaming and Apple Music to its (Airtel) customers in the country. This new development follows the original announcement back in August 2024 and will allow Airtel customers to get exclusive access to a wide range of content and music catalogues. Here are plans that are eligible for this. 

Apple TV+, Apple Music for Airtel customers

·         Airtel says that all Home Wi-Fi customers on plans starting at Rs 999 will get access to the Apple TV+.

·         The company notes that there will be an option to stream content on multiple devices.

·         Additionally, postpaid customers on plans starting at Rs 999 will get access to Apple TV+ and 6 months of free Apple Music.

·         Airtel notes that customers will get ad-free access to all Apple TV+ original series and movies. 

·         Airtel Home Wi-Fi plans already offer access to Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Zee5, Airtel Xstream and JioHotstar streaming platforms.

·         Meanwhile, Apple Music offers features like lossless audio, Spatial Audio, time-synced lyrics and Apple Music Sing.

·         This partnership was originally announced in August last year when Airtel discontinued its Wync Music service and the premium users were said to be moved to Apple Music.

·         If you are on the eligible Wi-Fi or postpaid plan, you can avail the Apple TV+ and Apple Music benefits under the ‘Claim OTTs and More‘ section within the AirtelThanks app.
