Mercury launches new mTab Rio at Rs. 11,999
Mercury has launched a new tablet in the Indian market and this device is called the mTab Rio. It is officially priced at Rs. 11,999 and apparently this tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Mercury mTab Rio sports a 9.7-inch IPS display and it is powered by a 1.2GHz single core processor. The tablet includes 1GB of RAM, 2 megapixel rear camera, 0.3 megapixel front facing camera and a USB port. The mTAb Rio comes in 8GB and 16GB variants and supports Wi-Fi connectivity.
This is yet another low-cost Android based tablet in the Indian market which is officially priced at Rs. 11,999. It has a few other competitors in the Indian market including the Micromax Funbook and the Zync Z990 both of which are priced much lower than the mTab Rio and also run Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
