LinkedIn Enhances AI-Powered Job Search Features for Premium Subscribers

LinkedIn is introducing AI-driven features to support its users in finding jobs, customizing their resumes, and seeking advice from AI chatbots. However, these new features will only be available to Premium subscribers in English worldwide.

One of the new tools allows users to search for jobs by typing natural language prompts. For instance, you can type "find me a remote marketing job in Detroit that pays at least $110,000." Once the search results are displayed, job seekers can find it useful for finding potential job openings. Additionally, LinkedIn will now review your resume, offer personalized suggestions to improve it for specific job posts, and help you create a cover letter “from scratch” with the help of AI.

These features are in addition to the Premium-only AI-powered features tested last year, including the ability to summarize LinkedIn posts in your feed. LinkedIn is also piloting AI personas of a few experts on the platform, allowing users to converse and learn more about business-related topics. The platform is also planning to introduce generative AI to improve the search experience, providing more in-depth insights and knowledge on any topic users are searching for.

LinkedIn Chief Product Officer Tomer Cohen says. “AI is set to revolutionize our search capabilities, enabling you to explore the depth and breadth of any topic directly through LinkedIn search.” Cohen promises that search enhancements will be rolled out “in the coming weeks.”
