Ducati India’s 2017 model

Ahead of its launch in India, the upcoming Ducati model's prices have been leaked, according to a report of Bikewale. The two-wheeler manufacturer is planning to launch five new models in the country in 2017 out of which the Ducati Monster 797, which is an entry-level model is priced at Rs 7.82 lakh, ex-showroom.Delhi and will join the company's portfolio.

Along with this, the Triumph Tiger XR and the Tiger XRx competitor, the Multistrada 950 adventure tourer motorcycle will retail at a price of Rs 11.53 lakh,ex-showroom Delhi. The Ducati Scrambler that will also be available in two new versions, Desert Sled and Café Racer which would be priced at Rs. 9.03 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Scrambler Desert Sled is a modified version of the Scrambler that will have off-roading capabilities. The Scrambler Café Racer, on the other hand, will be for urban riding.



The Ducati SuperSport is priced at Rs 11.72 lakh, while the more powerful version, the SuperSport S will cost Rs 13 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The Ducati SuperSport is a faired version of the Monster and will be powered by a 937 cc, twin-cylinder engine that will produce around 113 hp of power at 9,250 rpm.

Ducati India will sell all the upcoming motorcycles as Completely Built Up (CBU) units that will be imported from Thailand. The company will also soon commence the bookings for all Ducati models in India across its dealerships and deliveries of the new models are likely to begin from June, 2017.
