Baby Bachchan goes home in a Rolls Royce, a week after her birth | Xclusive: Big B With Aishwarya Rai Daughter!!

Today, a week after Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan’s baby girl was born (16 November), she left for her real home, Jalsa, amid a huge  crowd gathered outside the hospital to catch a glimpse of the blue-eyed baby.

But of course, that was not to be, as she was enveloped in a pink blanket in her grandfather Amitabh Bachchan’s arms, safe from every prying eye.

Abhishek, along with mother-in-law Vrinda Rai and father Amitabh took his wife and his girl home today from the Seven Hills hospital, which had become a celebrity sighting spot over the last week with the likes of Parmeshwar Godrej, Rashmi and Udhav Thackeray visiting and of course, the Bollywood brigade.

She drove home, first to Prateeksha on 10th Road, Juhu, and then to the Bachchans’ current abode, Jalsa, also in Juhu, in nothing less than a Rolls Royce and a posse of cars behind them, containing their security guards and other staff.

Once the girl was home, Bachchan senior and junior held a press conference subsequently today, a first of its kind, to announce the baby’s birth and how blessed they were to have a ‘Lakshmi’ in their home.

After which, both of them took to Twitter, and continued to share their joy and happiness of their precious girl being home, finally.

Baby Bachchan has caused hysteria of another kind simply by her birth and it doesn’t look like the interest in the little girl is going to ebb any time soon.

Now that she’s home, Abhishek and Aishwarya will get busy changing nappies and showering love on their first born.
