 CAT Cut-off for leading B-Schools
CAT 2011 results were announced now. Prof. Janakiraman Moorthy, CAT 2011 Convener, has said that the results of CAT 2011 is finalized and are ready to be declared. “Aspirants should be alert from midnight itself. If they want to avoid rush, visit CAT IIM website as early as possible, around midnight,” suggests Prof Moorthy.

CAT is one of the most challenging yet most popular and important entrance exam for MBA aspirants in India. The fate of around 1.85 lakh students, who appeared for CAT 2011, will become clear by midnight.

All IIMs will announce their shortlist soon after CAT 2011 results are declared on catiim.in. IIMs will also send individual interview call letter to all shortlisted candidates for further selection process. Some IIMs conduct Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview as further selection process, while others shortlist candidates on the basis of Written Assessment Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

Apart from CAT scores, IIM and other leading b-schools in India consider academic performance, relevant work experience and other similar inputs for short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of their admission process.
