Get ready for CAT 2011 results
CAT or mostly known as Common Aptitude Test 2011, one of the most challenging yet most popular entrance for the MBA aspirants will announce the CAT 2011 Results on 11 January 2012. It is a stepping stone for the candidates who wish to make a future in the corporate world. The CAT 2011 was conducted from 22 October 2011 till 18 November 2011. This being one of the challenging entrances is accepted by not only IIM's but by various top notch institutes such as MDI, IMT Ghaziabad that enroll admission to the candidates on the basis of their CAT scores.
After the result for the written exam is announced, the list of short listed candidates will be made available on the website for the next level of selection on individual IIM websites. Each IIM will send separate interview letters to the shortlisted candidates as the criteria for short listing candidates differ in each IIM. The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs.
IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. So, in case you haven't secured the score required for making it to the IIM's lots of other institutes are there for you. Keep a close watch on their dates.
