HTC Desire C selling for Rs. 14,299 online, 8GB card and 25GB cloud storage included

The HTC Desire C, a close cousin of the HTC Explorer has found its way onto online sites in India where it’s currently retailing for Rs. 14,299. The Desire C will compete with phones like the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus and the Motorola Defy XT, which are in the same ball park. The Desire C looks every bit like the Explorer, in terms of design, except for the rear panel, but it does differ in one major aspect and that is, it comes with Android 4.0 out-of-the-box. The highlights of the Desire C, include a slightly larger screen, 5MP camera, Beats Audio (Uggh!) and is slightly lighter and slimmer.
